Demo was a big success. Spent time with Kentaro of Microsoft Research. Lots of wealth here. Hard to remember that I am here to help the poorest of the poor.

No one has mentioned the suffering that ICT4D helps to relieve. We are all too preoccupied pursuing the indulgences that come with wealth.

Hard to understand why I am not one of those suffering in the depths of poverty while others attend conferences in hope of easing my pain.

Got to Doha last night. Pretty hot. Took a cab to “down town” for dinner. Lots of people smoking hookas. Lots of wealth – no poverty.
